TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Jan. 03, 2006 - Animation Technologies Inc., a pioneer in developing industry-first video multimedia solutions sold under the LifeView brand, will be presenting their latest products for PC users. Among them are their new expansive line of Vista compatible TV cards, their new SkyPad communications center for internet VOIP, and their SkyChat VOIP box for use with Skype™.

LifeView’s line of Vista compatible products allows everyone from consumers to system builders to easily add TV viewing and recording to their Vista PC. With a wide range of models to choose from, users can find the card that best suits their needs. LifeView’s line of Vista TV tuners includes PCIe x1 and PCI models for desktop PCs, ExpressCard, CardBus, MiniPCI and Mini Card models for laptop PCs, and USB 2.0 models for both. This variety gives both consumers and system builders a wide variety of models to choose from across a spectrum of interfaces, and many of the models use multiple tuners for PIP functionality. Laptop makers also have a solid selection of TV solutions that quickly integrate TV functionality into their notebook design simply by adding a card.

LifeView's SkyPad is a 3-piece internet communications suite consisting of a wireless handset, a flexible webcam, and a multi-functional base station. The wireless handset frees users from being tethered to their PCs when making calls over the internet. The handset interfaces directly with the Skype™ VOIP application, allowing users to place and receive calls directly from the handset itself, and can be used for both SkypeIn and SkypeOut calls.
The webcam allows users to videoconference over the internet for face to face conversations with friends and family. The innovative clip stand allows the camera to be clipped to a table or LCD display frame, or placed on any flat surface. Its pivoting head and focus ring make it easy to adjust for a centered, sharp picture. The base station serves several functions – it acts as a charger for the wireless handset, as a dock for the web camera, and as a 3 port USB 2.0 hub for convenient connection of other peripherals.

LifeView's SkyChat instant VOIP box allows users to connect their home phone to both Skype™ and a regular phone line and opens up a world of functionality by combining the two. At its basic level, SkyChat allows any home phone to place and receive phone calls on a regular phone line as well as through Skype. This makes it easy to save money on long distance and international calls while being able to call local numbers normally. Users can also take advantage of call waiting, call on hold, 3-way calling/conference calling between

both standard phone lines and Skype, call forwarding, call recording, and even caller ID. SkyChat's options can even be changed remotely through an interactive voice response system.

LifeView will be presenting these products and more at the 2007 CES show, January 8-11, in the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Booth 71234.
