The LCD NetTV is an embedded system based on the Intel CPU PXA255 and uses the Microsoft WinCE.net 4.2 operating system. It adds information appliance functionality to a versatile flat screen TV to create a wholly new type of product. The LCD NetTV uses a 26!‥ LCD display fitted with a silicon analog TV tuner that is compatible with worldwide analog TV and sound standards. It can also be fitted with a DVB-T, DVB-S, DVB-C, ATSC, or ISDT-T digital TV tuner, depending on what type of signal the user receives. The LCD NetTV features a full set of A/V inputs and outputs, including S-Video/composite/component/VGA/DVI/D4 inputs, and component/VGA/D4/DVI outputs. Watch analog TV and digital TV, or connect a wide array of other video sources to the NetTV including VCRs, camcorders, DVD players, computers, game consoles, and much more. A built in RJ45 ethernet port connects to a router, cable modem, or ADSL modem for internet access, and allows the LCD NetTV to function as an HTTP or FTP server, a videophone, media player, and more. It can be used to play MP3!|s, MPEG 1 or WMA files, or digital photos from the internet or from a CompactFlash card. It can also read Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files or easy presentations.
